On the same day Keir Starmer announced the UK’s carbon reduction targets, we were proud to declare that Tomsetts is on the road to net zero too.
Working with the Green Business Team, we’ve got a plan in place to get there by 2040, from a 2019 baseline of 3108.857 tCO2e (scopes 1, 2, and 3). As a business based on transporting heavy goods across the country it’s going to be a long road, but we’re throwing everything at it.
We can’t sit back and watch the planet slide into ecological collapse. We have to act: it’s our duty to the next generation.
