We’re trialling an Iveco eDaily 7.2t electric lorry, to see how it handles our local delivery routes in and around Brighton. It’s a fantastic bit of kit that can do up to 240 miles on a single charge.
Sustainable logistics
240 miles in an equivalent diesel lorry emits about 225kg of CO2e. Multiply that over a year, and the eDaily has the potential to make a serious dent in our footprint, as well as improving air quality and noise pollution on urban roads.
Loading it in the yard with one of our electric forklifts means we can get your goods from A to B practically emissions free!
And the icing on the cake? This electric version has 2.9t payload – almost a ton more than its gas guzzler sibling. A bigger payload means we can transport more without adding extra vans to the road.
