Tomsetts Distribution proudly announces its support for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2025, reaffirming the company’s long-standing commitment to honouring the UK’s Armed Forces community.
We received Dave Seal from the RBL to hand over our Lorry Poppies to Lee Smith our new transport manager for the launch of the 2025 RBL Poppy appeal.
The Royal British Legion provide help and support for members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, Veterans and their families.
Supporting the Poppy Appeal is a way for Tomsetts Distribution to give back and remember the sacrifices made by our service personnel.
Lee Smith Transport Manager said “several of our employees have served their country before joining our business. Tomsetts are proud to support the poppy appeal showing our continued commitment to our Armed Forces”.
Tomsetts were officially recognised this year with a Bronze Armed forces Covenant Employment Recognition scheme award for supporting employment pathways for ex-forces personnel and recognising that skills and experience gained in the military can be hugely valuable for civilian roles. Although Keen to employ former armed forces personnel the business is actively recruiting and happy to consider applications from any suitably qualified individuals.
