As part of Tomsetts commitment to the Armed Forces Employment Recognition Scheme, we attended an Employers breakfast hosted by 6 Regiment Army Air Corps at RNAS Yeovilton. The morning was attended by 74 employers representing 54 different companies for an exclusive insight into Army aviation.
We toured the impressive Wildcat helicopter, met the soldiers, learned more about how we can support the Army Air Corps reservists and met up with our South East Defence Relationship Managers. Already recognised with a Bronze award Tomsetts are working with our defence relationship managers to push towards a Silver award in the new year.
The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) is the UK government’s program that acknowledges and publicly thanks employers for their support and commitment to the Armed Forces community. The scheme encompasses three tiers of awards: Bronze, Silver, and Gold, for employers that pledge, demonstrate, or advocate support to Defence and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
